Geppetto live visual set featuring Mr Steve McCarthy at the Lost Society, Dublin, 2011 For Tiger Beer “A Night Of Asian Distinction”
The Gukebox is an Interactive Video Vinyl Player made in the style of an old turntable. It runs using a projector installed in a cabinet just above.
The Turntable shows one of 16 different videos/songs rotating much like an old vinyl would, while the arm, background and start/stop button have individual images and effects to react to the main video.
The right hand side houses a 16 button controller giving the user the option to switch between videos at will, with the music from each being played through the headphones provided. (Headphones were required at this Gallery as there was music played on the night throughout)
